Give a free Kiva loan

Annalee Shelton

When
March 31, 2013

The new book The International Bank of Bob got me thinking, what does $25 mean to me? Here in LA, it's a taco night at Senior Fish, half a tank of gas, or a mild Target run. To someone else, it can mean the world.

To celebrate Bob's book, Kiva is giving away free trial loans. Your mission: log on to the Kiva link and find a project that speaks to you. Give away $25 to someone with a great plan, and watch your inbox for updates. When you're done, come back here and leave a comment about the project you funded.

While you're at it, check out The International Bank of Bob. It's good.

Thanks! Glad you enjoyed the book! I'd report back on my one loan, but it's like 5600 now. (There's a list at http://kiva.org/lender/bobharris.)

I really appreciate the kind words.

    Best,
    Bob

One day I'll get to say the same thing. Thanks for the inspiration! Can't wait for the sequel.
