establish mock-archaeology rooms in public schools

Public Schools

With all of the money I see being poured into football stadiums for local high schools, I wonder if we couldn't rearrange priorities so that students can experience the tangible and real world experiences of intellectual career fields such as archaeology. My idea would be to introduce history lessons by planting mock artifacts and have students dig and develop theories about the civilization. After digging for artifacts and developing theses, students would be introduced to current historical thought over the civilization in question. No reason these artifacts can't be from modern times either!
