The holiday challenge and matching campaign have finished. I've requested the GOOD folks to take down this post. But you can still empower lives with solar energy loans if you go to Thanks!

Anyone thinking of having panels installed has to be very mindful of how much power will be generated, the loan might not account for roof angle or direction but the homeowner definately should! There are lots of online resources and I would strongly recommend reading up on solar to decide what you need to install. If possible I would advocate for starting with a small system with the option to expand, depending on performance. The technology is getting better all the time so being able to expand the system every few years will allow for improved efficiency.
