    I discovered the Baldwin Hills Scenic Overlook. As for how I'm putting it to use... well, you'll have to wait and see, but it has something to do with health, community, participation, and diversity, and it's happening in July! :)

    The equestrian district of Burbank, CA has a surprising number of public arenas and well-maintained equestrian trails that can be used by anyone. I took two rescue horses from Polo Pony Rescue to a public arena this weekend. Public amenities that are underused have an unfortunate tendency to disappear from city budgets, so take some time this week to discover something your city provides that you can use, then go out and use it! Plus, the more people there are in public spaces, the safer they are for all.
