My favorite tip of hers is to consider what you want and what you need in order to find value. I personally know I need more exercise, relaxation, and work/life balance. What I want is a comfortable life with a small house, a loving relationship, and a job that stimulates me (which I have). So it's just a matter of filling in my needs to create value.
