But with a twist! Instead of taking songs that you've recently had on repeat, pick an old stage of your life and make up a track list with songs that were from that time period. Call me nostalgic, but I still remember being back in Elementary school and burning CDs for all of my friends to put in their loot-bags at my birthday parties. Still to this day, when I bump into old friends, they never fail to mention the CD but, more importantly the memories that we had. Sure we normally turn to pictures when we want to reminisce or recall an event that happened, but there's something to be said for turning on an old song and remembering how you felt the last time you heard it. Whether it be the last song that you heard before you dropped someone off at the airport for an 'I don't know when will be the next time I'll see you' goodbye, or the song that you and your best friend made up a dance to for your school talent show, you might be surprised by the memories that old music can bring back.
