Do It

Connect those trying to change the world with individuals that can help.

These shirts give much more than a soft embrace.

Ghandi said, "In a gentle way, you can shake the world." We've taken that to heart. We believe that by taking time to find small organizations looking to make big change, partnering with them to help them achieve their goal, and creating a community of individuals powered by doing good, we can change the world. We know that the labels and judgements passed on our generation are wrong, and we're here to prove it. Not by yelling, not by arguing, but by doing what we're best at: creating a better world.

It's cool that you're deliberately focusing on smaller nonprofits that tend to get overlooked. I heard a stat recently about the number of nonprofits that get the majority of the funding in the U.S.-- can't remember the exact figure, but a small group of nonprofits really get almost all funding and donations. It's so hard for smaller local orgs to get support.

Thank you, we agree! Many smaller organizations are also trying to approach problems in innovative, multi-pronged ways that can exclude them from funding because they're not dealing with a specific thing. We want to make sure they also get funding to continue creatively addressing issues!

Right now, through hours of research on my own using Google, Twitter, smaller blogs/newspapers, and GOOD of course! The idea is that once it really gets started, we'll build of a community of people recommending the organizations that they know are doing great work. So, the more we expand, the more organizations we'll be able to find.

I love what you are doing as well and this is what my approach has been with Be Cause PR. Working with the smaller orgs who truly can evolve and make a huge difference if they get a little help from peeps like us. I would love to stay connected and see how we could work together. Thank you for your work! Cathy
