We have been working on creative project all year, that we are talking about sharing with other children. We also do service learning as a community.

I have a service learning component to the child development class I teach, where my college students spend 22 hours per semester in a local elementary or preschool classroom, volunteering their time to support the classroom teacher and connecting what we are covering in class to real world examples. Before each service session students prepare in advance a "plan" for their time to make sure they are connecting correctly, then they implement their plan in between tasks the teacher assigns them to. The experience is fantastic for all involved. Getting out of the college classroom and into the world really enriches my students' perspectives on community and professional work, and the service they provide to the teachers is invaluable. Not only that, but my students and the youngsters they interact with build relationships too, which are priceless. Its a great experience for everyone.
