Do It

Ask Young People How They Would Change Education.

Imagining Learning

Young people spend over 50 percent of their waking hours either attending classes or doing homework, yet there is little to no real invitation to them to participate in discussions about how education/schools are created, reformed, reinvented or transformed.

Imagining Learning works to change that by leading Listening Sessions. Students gather together in a room, surrounded by paint and giant sheets of paper. Then, they participate in a process that combines the creative design processes of storytelling and appreciative inquiry, and helps students articulate their opinions about their lives in a space of trust and openness.

By repeating Listening Sessions with young people from all walks of life, a national vision of what young people want in education is emerging. Help Imagining Learning lead more listening sessions across the country and help activate and and amplify our young people's ideas about how they would change education.

This is for our young people and the future of our planet. Every dollar donated will be repaid ten-fold in positive change. Just remember what it was like to be a young person and how powerful it was or is to be listened to and be asked to engage in a project trying to make the world better! You can bring that experience to young people all over the country! Please donate today!
