Apply to London's New Edtech Accelerator, Emerge Education

Emil Wallnér

London, United Kingdom
November 17, 2013 is a London based, three month accelerator program for startups seeking to improve educational outcomes in the UK and beyond.

On top of a £15K living stipend, workspace and business support, selected startups will receive access to a deep pool of educators, progressive educational institutions and existing distribution platforms for live customer testing and accelerated market distribution.

Chosen startups will also receive industry-specific insight through its community of some of Europe’s hottest edtech founders, including executives from Mendeley, Busuu, and Memrise.

To bring it all together and provide focus and hands-on investment support, participants will receive weekly coaching from Emerge Education’s Venture Partners, Volker Hirsch, Neeraj Sharma and Martin Campbell.

Applications are due by November 17 and the selected companies will commence the three-month program in early January.

Alessandra, I have to say that you are a brilliant community manager! (1) Thanks for posting it in the London group. (2) Thanks for sharing the link, for us it does not really matter if you call it incubator vs accelerator, have space or not - for us it's all about the outcomes. I'm also a big believer in industry specific accelerators rather than general accelerators (3) Education startups that can show a big potential for financial return as well as massively improve educational outcomes.

Doing a pilot for crowdsourcing the neighbourhood plan for Elephant & Castle & Walworth with couple of partners and looking at next level of street furniture i.e. bus-stops. Should catch up for a coffee :) Are you at Google campus sometime?
