I think the biggest challenge for my family will be No. 4 -- I definitely want to stop using paper towels, though. Thanks for the tips!

I'm studying in LA this semester! Does anyone know an easy/cheap way to rent a bike?

I didn't adopt all of these verbatim. Though I rarely now buy bottled water in the US, "never" is not something I'm ready to do, especially when traveling in places like India or if on a road trip and dehydrated, thought "more rarely" is totally doable. I am really looking for a more sustainable way to travel / fly - that is the biggest driver of my footprint these days.

Love these! I want to start getting a CSA box-- does anyone have suggestions for a good one in LA?

If you have space to grow your own food, FarmScape can help you set up an awesome garden in LA! http://farmscapegardens.com/
Otherwise, maybe Full Circle will reach LA this year... they just made it to SF! Sorry to not have more specific advice for CSAs in LA.

Awesome! Thanks. I actually tried South Central Farmers' Cooperative last week and really liked it. I have more collard greens than I can handle haha.
